NDB first Screen Printing Workshop (link) turned into a short serie of two workshop at Bygning 5. The response of the people has been great. Both workshops went overbooked!
Our team with the help of the users experimented screen printing techniques as stencil print and mono print on empty frames.
We are looking forward to repeat this experience in the future. Workshops give us the chance to openly cooperate with enthusiast users, and this is always a great creative push forward for our team.
We aim to get the same result in the future events we will organize 😊
Here are some prints made during the last workshop
Work it – Make it – Do it – Make us
Harder – Better – Faster – Stronger
With the virtues of our heroes, we made a Screen Printing workshop. Has been fun, relaxing, catchy and a great learning opportunity.
We met yesterday at Bygning 5, with Greta and Anitafrom sixthousand_mag and with our guests, to learn about screen printing techniques.
Nothing more to be said, just results to be shown. We had a great time and we will repeat the experience again. A sincere thank you to all the participants. Here are our prints.
“Salone or Fuori Salone, that is the question”. Clearly, we visited them both.
The Salone del Mobile, with the companies, the showrooms and the sales personal represents the business core of the design week. Professional designers, managers and entrepreneurs presenting to the world their creations. NDB had the pleasure to visit many Danish companies and meet their representatives.
Fuori Salone is different. It offers artistic exhibitions and the experience of the strong city vibe. And Aperitivo… So in between a Spritz, a cocktail and a beer, Milan drives you through art and design all around the city center. That’s where the creativity is. Were the energy is driven by people, by movement and sometimes by alcohol. The modern skyline and the old buildings, the fashion houses and the museums become the background for the creatives. The people.
We had an amazing experience in Milan. Ny Dansk Bølge will be back, stronger and more provocative than ever.
That has been our first feeling last Thursday, during the 2018 edition of Business Lunch at SDU Kolding. Only few months ago in fact, we participated to the same gathering, but from the student’s side. Last week, we faced the students from business’s side.
We caught the opportunity of having our own stand and platform. We used it to express our vision and our manifest, our values and intentions. Has been amazing to communicate with the businesses and the students the opportunities we can offer. We experienced a strong opening from the young professionals to our ideas.
Overall has been a valuable experience to share our Thursday with local institutions and companies. We had a great collaboration with Souther Denmark University that organized the event.
We are looking forward to be involved again in such a valuable experience.

Which factor could change life in Danish countryside villages?
With this question in mind we approached our last assignment. We had the pleasure to cooperate with local companies and organizations in Bjert, Kolding. We curated the presentation event for the project “Nyt liv i gamle længer” (New life in old farms).
We applied our design skills creating the identity for the event, as well as marketing materials like flyers and banner. We curated the design of the space representing the breakthrough vision of the architects. The mockup of the buildings and the kids’ play area created an interactive experience in the room. Over 160 guests had the pleasure to enjoy the space, the cozy atmosphere and the talks from the Mayor of Kolding and the architect.
It is always a pleasure for us to cooperate and support projects we believe in. We support the values and the vision of this challenging plan. We wish all the best to the organizers for the proceeding of their path.
“Antartica has about 90% of the world’s ice”. This is how Guisella Gacitúa, PhD and researcher, introduced her experience in the Antarctic continent.
Tuesday 20 we had the chance to participate to the event UN17: Witnessing Antartica at Spinderihallerne in Vejle. A great chance to discuss about UN17 Goals and to hear the experiences of who visited Antartica. We had a great discussion with the other international participants regarding the actions needed for change. We all wish to see more catchy events and entertaining activities that can attract the attention of the general public to the sensitive problem of sustainability.
Light Festival is coming to town and NDB team is excited and ready to go live. From Thursday 5.00 p.m. our light installations will be displayed at Nicolai. We have worked hard on our conceptualization in order to add depth and value to the celebration of light concept.
We are looking forward to communicate Kolding history to its citizens and visitors. We are glad to cooperate with many valuable partners as Nicolai Kultur, Bygning 5 and Peberman.
